Organisational/Team Masterminding
“The sum is greater than the parts” – This is a simple yet effective strategy of grouping teams within an organisation to build success from success rather than working in silo’s.
Who is this for?
- Any group of employees that would benefit from a group connection to support, encourage and help build on each other’s success. This is very useful for people that work remotely such as sales representatives and also works well across functions, Countries and companies
Why is it important?
- This gives individuals a huge amount of support and encouragement to help reach stretch goals. Due to the structure and set up of mastermind groups they enable each member to gain value in a number of ways. Increasing thought and creativity, solution focused suggestions and increase individual inspiration and motivation
How does it work?
- Groups of up to 10 are formed and a set process of working is agreed. The groups are held by teleconference for an hour each week at the same time. Each member has “win”, “goals” and “wants and needs” from the group. Rules have to be adhered to so that the value is maximised. A coach and facilitator would set this group up and then attend every 3rd session to help out as necessary.
Expected Outcomes and Success Measures
- This method of working leads to an increase of satisfaction, support and motivation to achieve. It also increases creativity and thinking for self and others. It’s primary focus is to give commitment and motivation to achieving goals. By sharing and listening the commitment to self and others is greatly increased. We know from studies in Social Psychology that this regular verbal commitment increases the likely hood of action being taken.
